SAG Awards move to online-only submissions

As Dave McNary reported for Variety this morning, submissions for the 19th-annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be accepted online only for the first time.

The submission period began today and runs through Oct. 25. Nomination ballots will go out Nov. 21, with the initial voting closing Dec. 10.

After noms are announced Dec. 12, the final voting period will run from Dec. 31 through Jan. 25 for the Jan. 27 kudofest at the Shrine Exposition Center.

SAG voters can request paper ballots through Oct. 1.
