Looking ahead: A '42' preview

The trailer for Jackie Robinson movie "42," starring Chadwick Boseman with Harrison Ford as Branch Rickey, was released today.

There's not much you can draw from this snapshot other than the look of the movie and the understanding that it's going to hit the major bullet points of Robinson's life. I'll be curious to see if "42" can find new insights in Robinson's critically important but familiar story.

The movie opens April 12, three days shy of the 66th anniversary of Robinson's debut in the majors.
