Eastwood kin named Miss Golden Globe
Francesca Eastwood, the 19-year-old daughter of Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher, was named Miss Golden Globe for the Jan. 13 Golden Globes. Her half-sister Kathryn was Miss Golden Globe in 2005.
“I am honored to have been chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press to be Miss Golden Globe of 2013,” Francesca Eastwood said in a statement. “I have watched the Golden Globes ceremonies since I was a little girl, and it means so much to me to be a part of one of Hollywood’s most illustrious events.”
Her film credits include "True Crime," and she has been appearing on E! reality show "Mrs. Eastwood and Company."
The most recent Miss Golden Globe was Rainey Qualley, daughter of Andie McDowell.

A native of Los Angeles raised by two parents and "Hill Street Blues," Jon Weisman ankled his scriptwriting career and began working for Variety in 2004, subsequently serving as associate editor of features and television reporter before becoming awards editor. He promises not to use this platform to retroactively campaign for Oscars for “The Misfits,” though he’d feel justified in doing so.
