Weekend Boxoffice: 3:10 to Yuma vs. The Brave One
Judging from the Fandango stats here, there isn't much interest in seeing Jodie Foster's The Brave One this weekend. Will getting tough alienate both the men and the women? Variety is more sanguine: "Violent, R-rated drama, which also stars Terrence Howard, has a clear shot at the weekend crown," writes Pamela McClintock.

What I don't understand is why people still buy movie tickets online. What in the world for? I could understand nerds wanting to reserve their 12:01am tickets to tentpoles but otherwise there really is no reason. Plus I doubt the audience that will show up to see the Brave One are the type to buy tix online (like me). I honestly can't wait to see this, reviews be damned!

would suggest that 'brave one' is not the type of picture that tracks well on fandango
