"It's finally creeping up on us," Jennifer Lopez said excitedly at ShoWest Wednesday night as she celebrated the upcoming debut of her latest pic "El Cantante." Coming from PictureHouse, the music biopic will be the first in a string of features on which J.Lo. is a producer. She took her producing role seriously in Las Vegas, participating in a panel on indie films, endlessly schmoozing exhibs and even doing something stars rarely do… sitting through the unveiling of her own movie to see how the film played. "Producing and acting are sort of the same thing, where you have to be very creative," Lopez explained, standing in a VIP section at packed Club Risque as a gaggle of exhibs lined up behind a velvet rope hoping to get a snapshot with the hyphenate.
