Kate at Fishbowl LA caught one of Adult Swim's irreverent network interstitials, in which the cable network takes a decidedly indifferent approach to the strike:
Cartoon Network's Adult Swim addressed the WGA strike head on by running a promo that reads:
Dear Adult Swim, I am very concerned about the upcoming Writer's [sic] Guild of America strike. How does a WGA strike affect Adult Swim? [Signed] Unspeakably Violent.
Guild strike? Hey do you have any cheat codes for Warcraft? Seriously. We need them for wizarding.
Fishbowl LA notes that, "Cartoon Network shows aren't written by WGA members--yet."
-- Michael Schneider

ah, the juggernaut Adult Swim, that has produced The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, Beavis & Butthead and Southpark. Wait, those came from other places who's sole focus was not animation. Let's not forgot the salient series Ed, Ed and Eddie, that they did produce ... the fact that they are cheap works well with the fact that they are also stupid ...

And don't forget the award-winning "Squidbilly" show!
You mean, "Squidbillies" didn't win any awards???
Gee, imagine that......
