WGA has firmed up its plans for Tuesday's march along Hollywood Boulevard -- which will mark the last guild-planned strike demonstration before the break for the Thanksgiving holiday and talks between the WGA and AMPTP resume on Monday, Nov. 26.
For the rally on Tuesday, guild is asking participants to assemble at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Ivar Avenue at 1 p.m. for a planned 1:30 start time -- gotta presume the march heads west, not east but it's not specified in the WGA post on the march. (Also gotta wonder if someone might not show up in a Santa suit, given the boulevard's history as being the money-shot part of the route for the Hollywood Christmas parade.)
It's a safe bet there will be some special guests on hand for the event, but for now guild is only saying scribes, actors, musicians, Teamsters, Service Employees and other unions. Click here for more details.
