That's Seth MacFarlane on Fox's plans to air a new episode of "Family Guy" on Sunday. It would be the first time in the animated series' six-season history that a "Family Guy" episode was completed without the oversight of its creator, who provides five of the voices as well as serving as the show's head writer.
MacFarlane says there are three episodes fairly close to completion and that Fox would be within its legal rights to air them without further participation on his part.
The studio had no comment; Josef Adalian has the story.
