I'd Honk for House but it's on the same time as The Unit.

Who wrote that "Jesus was a writer" one?
Cause he wasn't.
He wrote something in the sand once (and no one knows what he wrote), but that's it. Jesus lived it, he didn't write about it.

My favorite sign is, "Don't worry - IATSE will fix the blank pages for you in post." I take that to be a very funny sign held by an IATSE member showing solidarity.

I think even by now the writers have lost whatever money they would have made in the deal they want, and the producers have lost way more money than they would have paid them. Not to mention everyone else in Hollywood who's not even a party to the strike. If this goes on for additional weeks or months, both sides will have lost so much money that there might as well not even be a union.

Regardless of how much money is lost by the writers, there should definitely still be a union. This isn't just about the money. This is about demanding that the studios respect and acknowledge the hard work that writers do every day to bring us the entertainment we see on movie and television screens. They deserve to be treated as well as anyone else in the industry. Stand strong WGA!

Funny how the Teamsters still like to come across as some big, tough union.
I'll never forget them being in cahoots with my company (Nationair Canada) as they tried to bust our union, crossed our picket lines protecting SCABS and actually started forming a new union consisting of the SCABS that replaced us when we were locked out for a year and a half, then trying to say they were the "official" union.
So you'll forgive me laughing at this being a "Teamsters endorsed" strike.
