Agent Bradley Glenn at Kaplan Stahler Gumer Braun sent in a YouTube strike video that included footage of his colleagues supporting their clients. However, I think the most interesting element was in the video's comments:

That would be a point well made if GrouchoG _PAID_ to watch 4000 shows over the net. Kind of hard to collect royalties/percentages on shows available through illegal file sharing.

You don't have to PAY to watch TV shows on sites like NBC's Hulu. They're free, surrounded like advertising--just like network TV! Only they're saying that's promotional usage & they don't have to pay anyone to use it that way. And they don't pay ANYTHING to the people who created that content.
They make money, we make money.
