Love (to picket) in the afternoon
Striking scribes on the east coast have decided they like theme pickets, too.
The WGA East has declared Monday "Daytime Day" on the picket line. Stars and scribes from several sudsers are scheduled to demonstrate in front of Time Warner Center between noon and 2 p.m. Thesps from sudsers "Guiding Light," "As the World Turns," "One Life to Live" and "All My Children" are slated to appear. Among the notables: "GL's" Kim Zimmer (left).
UPDATE! Not to be outdone, Los Angeles-based soap stars are also planning to pound the pavement Monday. Details are being finalized, but look for things to start bubbling up around 10 a.m. in front of CBS Television City (where suders such as "Young and the Restless" tape). We're hoping for a Deidre Hall sighting....
