I was reading the Wall Street Journal this week. The article suggested less than a united front on the part of the producers than this piece suggests, with CBS and NBC Universal more likely to suffer a lengthy strike, while NewsCorp is diversified enough, and with enough reality TV (esp. American Idol) and animation lead time (Simpsons) to stall as long as possible.
