Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel are set to do a guest-shot tango on Thursday.
"The Tonight Show" host apparently came up with the idea of each doing the other's show given that they're both in the predicament of struggling to book name guests due to the strike. NBC's "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" are in a tough spot re bookings now that the WGA has cut an interim agreement with CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."
The NBC and ABC skeins will have more company for their misery starting on Monday when Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report" return to production, also sans scribes.

Lame.
